To all the married men with kids..... how do you really feel about your wife's post-baby belly. I have 3 kids, one under a year, and I just can't stand the way I look. I've almost lost all the baby weight and am in relatively good shape considering. Most of my old clothes fit, but the baby pouch is just awful to me. My husband tells me it doesn't bother him any and that I look good. Of course, we all know that he would never tell me I looked disgusting. Since men are so visual, I have a hard time believing that men are ok with their wive's post-baby bellies. So, my question is a simple one...are you?

Well, it is sad that you feel that way and that our society has created a world where the post-baby figure is not sexy (in some cultures it is). I do, however, appreciate the honest answer. My husband keeps telling me it doesn't matter and I don't believe him, I think he is just trying to be nice.

My wife had our daughter almost two years ago. She's lost all the baby weight, but the curves that used to be so exciting are now pretty droopy. I'm quite frustrated.

I had a horrible realization yesterday when my wife was walking around the house naked. I now prefer her body with clothes on. Is that bad? Her breasts and butt look great in bra/panties (no more thongs please.) We still enjoy great sex, I just prefer the lights a bit dimmer now. :(

Most of the men I know (guys in their 40s & 50s) really don't pine to be with the 18 year-old centrefold models. Once you've lived for a while, you want to be with someone who's been around the block as well.

Having babies is just one important life experience that can leave some marks. To quote the great Robert Heinlein: "Nursing does not diminish the beauty of a woman's breasts; it enhances their charm by making them look lived in and happy."

to the OP I understand where your coming from as Im in the same boat....despite what the men here say I believe that if men were turned on by baby bellies then they would pay to look at them in the monthly penthouse mag...but no, they say they want one thing then masturbate over another....(women (barely) who are younger than their wives who have clearly never carried babies) and they wonder why women feel like crap once they become wives and mothers...

Oh yes, I'm quite happy with my wife post-baby. Or babies, as we've had three.

I'm very fortunate, as my wife never kept too much of the baby weight. Ya, there's a bit of a pouch; she doesn't look like she did when she was 18. But in the 20+ years since she's made incredible children, and she's still willing to put up with me.
