That explains why porn stars appear perfect.
Find a torrent site and locate some porn bloopers, that should show you that even the best fail at times.
Now 5 seconds seems short, are you physically healthy? Is the porn actually appealing to you?
Do you get a hardon when you don't watch porn, can you get one just by thinking about sex?
If you are under stress that will affect your erection. 5 seconds seems awfully short to me, especially for a young man.
If it doesn't stay hard unless you are watching porn and stimulating directly I would definitly seek medical attention, although it might be as simple as too much stress. Worrying about it of course creates stress, bit of a catch 22.
