reader, anonymous, writes (13 May 2008): It takes time to get to know a new person so maybe you need to make your needs known. The one before would have learned things about you. With someone new we are sometimes nervous, both people, so it needs to be got over.

Well... I always take some time to adjust to any new partners. I guess after 14 years you just have to take some time to adjust. Talk and tell him what you like and how you like it...
Still, I think the main problem about having an orgasm is in our own head. Give yourself time and things will get normal again.
