 This is a tough call... After 6 years, it would seem that you would have had some real evidence of love or not-love...
HOWEVER, as SVC has said.... sometimes, these things are more arcane that blatant.....
MYSELF???? After I spent 5 years awaiting my "G/F" to express that she "loved me".... and didn't hear a peep... I drew my own conclusion, and went on my way....

he loves me.
I know he does.
he cares for me and worries about me and treats me with respect. His friends are not allowed to disrespect me.
he does not talk to other women or hide things from me.
he is affectionate with me.
