They are always complimentary and say nice things about and I do work hard. I am probably the quieter 1 in the team, the rest always have something to moan about or have opinions- I'm not so forthcoming but any issues I do raise it but I don't kick off. They have said often that I don't cause any trouble and they wish the rest were like me.I don't know whether it's a good thing as I don't want to be seen as weak or uninterested- this has never been said to me. No, it is a good thing, and they've told you that. But actually being too quiet can sometimes does mean that you are overlooked for bigger opportunities. I'd suggest that if you're up for it, you talk to management again and ask them how you can get ahead with your work, and that you'd be ready to fight hard for any promotions that come your way. The best way to get ahead is to work hard, but to also make sure that when a big opportunity comes along, they know that you'll jump at the chance to take it on. Continue to work hard, but don't be afraid to ask for bigger challenges either. They'll look at you more if they just know that you're ready to work.
