A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 February 2010):

Guys make talking to a girl sound impossible. Its simple, have a conversation! Talk to her, ask her what she likes doing, whats shes into etc, have a laugh and when you realise that the conversation has been going well for about 15 minutes or so, ask her out to a movie or something. If she says yes, you are half way there, if she says no, then at least you tried. It doesnt mean your a failure with every other girl.

Not a good idea. I you like her that much, ask her out. But don't go and kiss her or anything. She might get scared and you would come out looking bad. Ask her out instead.
