Join the unemployed club. I'm with you, all the way. My plan is to cook my girlfriend a meal and spoil her with massages and a bath with candles and all that stuff. Try cooking your boyfriend a meal. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach :-)

 Its the thought that counts. Most men love food, perhaps you can bake him some cookies for christmas, or cook him a nice meal? Or just write a nice letter for Christmas, or make a Christmas-card for him.
Christmas is not about gifts and money. If he's not a completely materialistic person he will understand this and not have a problem with it, but instead be grateful for your thoughts and efforts.

 Ok first off dont panic, christmas is not all about presents its showing people that we love and care for them also.
Am sure your boyfriend will understand that you have lost your job and that you are tight for money, maybe you could make him something, use your imagination on this one, we dont need money for expensive things when you have each other. Am sure he is not with you just for presents, so come to an agreement before christmas to not spend much money on each other, or to exchange home made gifts.
