What about trips that they have involving school? Anything going on that pertains to your major like study abroad programs or certain clubs that involve going on trips that you may be interested in? I know it won't be strictly singles, but at least you'll be around some people that most likely are and share a common interest.

reader, anonymous, writes (3 September 2009): As a single guy it may be harder than you think... unless you network with a mixed singles group to insure that there are enough females around to make it interesting.Don't fall for the all-inclusive Jamacian resorts (Hedo is one) that offer wild times with naked women. Unless your the rare "best of the best" single guys they are not very welcome... It's a great atmosphere, and if you can hook up with a group it's A LOT of fun...You might consider finding a group of like minded individuals who plan trips... white water rafting, race car driving school, backpacking.... whatever interests you... if it's fun in the sun Mexico can be a blast, but the recent drug crimes can make it a bit scary. No matter what you do, research it and make sure that you're expectations can be acheived.
