writes:I've dated my bf for half a year before we turned into long-distance, so far it has already been one and half month of LDR. This morning I suggested to visit him during Christmas, but he said he's unsure about it. He said he wanted to see me for sure, but "it could be too much" for me to spend so much just for visiting him. But the thing is, if I don't visit him during Christmas, we won't be able to see each other till next year and probably we will break up before that.. I don't think I'll be able to carry this on if I'll not be able to see him in a year.so do you guys think I should just give him up?

reader, anonymous, writes (5 October 2010): No, i would keep trying. Have you told him about how you feel that you might end up breaking up if you don't visit? Explain how you need to see him and maybe suggest that you going to see him is his Christmas present?
