reader, anonymous, writes (14 October 2010): Definitely; a secret life in my head though.
I think I enjoy depression and knowing what my girlfriend’s fears and hurts are. Just because that’s the only way I can truly relate and connect with anyone. I don’t want to let her know that this is how I think or she will surly leave me.
(Also, I think it would be best for us if we broke up, but I don’t want to be the one to say/do it.)
Secrets should be kept just that I think. What you are asking people to reveal is a flaw of the human condition. Not cool 'RevealTVProject.'

If you answered YES then remember that they would want to know the REAL you. You're their spouse and parent and they love and trust the YOU that they think they know. You need to understand that they need to know the truth.
If you're having trouble telling them, or believe that its too sketchy of a subject to talk to them about then a psychiatrist is always a good answer.
