YouWish agony auntThat's weird. Your best friend likes him but won't say yes? Sounds like a real game player.

Normally, I advocate being honest and outright telling the guy that you like him, but in this case, I don't think I'd want to be the one he dates by default because he can't have who he really wants.

I say leave the guy alone. Switch your interests elsewhere, and if he wants you, HE needs to make the move that proves to you that he's choosing YOU, not your best friend by proxy. Better yet, find a better guy who couldn't care less about your best friend!

petina1 agony auntTell your friend that if she doesnt want him you want to make a play for him but you won't tread on her toes if she does want to go out with him. That's being fair. If she can't give him an answer it sounds like she isnt that bothered about him anyway. Good Luck! Hope this helps.
