Usually, he comes to my town and spends a week with me about once a month but since he went back to school, it's harder for him to do that and so, I'm going to his city for a night this weekend. We're going to rent a room at a hotel and I was thinking about making it a little extra special but I don't know how.I was thinking about getting some nice lingerie, maybe a bottle of wine and some candles? I've never done anything like that for him, and I'm not even sure if he'll like it. He's never voiced any interest for it to me, at least. I guess I won't really know until I try, but I'm still afraid of being rejected. There's no occasion for it and I'm afraid he'll just look at me like wth or that it'll be awkward. Does that make sense?? Should I do it? Any other suggestions for making it a little more exciting?

sounds lovely... there is very little romantic lighting in a hotel room candles are a great idea.
Lingerie will make a lovely pile on the floor as he rips it off of you..
I know that when BF and I have to be apart the first night together is always memorable.
ENJOY!

TRUST ME! Lingerie idea he will love!! Its like every guys fantasy.. well not every guy but im gona say at least 99%. If any girl, got rejected, especially a girlfriend.. its simply because he is gay. Dont tell him you got Lingerie let it be a surprise. Maybe through some candles on. Go freshen up and when you come out of the bathroom wearing sexy lingerie what guy wouldnt like that!!!???? My girlfriend did it for me.... My mouth dropped and I almost passed out i was in shock! Guys love it hopefully he will!

Here's how to make it truly special: show up! My guess is you'll both be so excited to see each other you don't need lingerie to be "spicy." Though a bottle of bubbly would probably be fun. I think getting a hotel room is already pretty special. I'd be a little concerned about candles in a hotel (fire hazards), so be careful if you decide to do that.
