writes: My ex and I broke up over a year ago and while we had a little rough patch over the summer we quickly went back to being friends and even became better friends than we were before we dated. We had not done anything remotely sexual at all until last week when we somehow managed to get each other hot and bothered while talking to eachother over instant messege. He suggested we video chat and next thing I know, we started masterbating together over video chat. We've done this several times now over the course of the week, but we both keep insisting we just want to stay best friends. But the thing is, last time I checked, best friends dont do things like this... now it doesnt feel platonic anymore, but I'm not sure I want to be in a relationship either. I just want to know, is this a good idea to keep doing? A bad idea? Neither of us have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, so its not cheating. Can anyone stay close friends in a situation like this or does this cross some sort of line?
