It's this Saturday, and we have everything planned (what we're going to wear, where we're going to eat, etc). The thing is, tomorrow is the last day you can buy tickets. I bought mine last week, but he's been sick all week and hasn't been able to come to school. If he's still too sick to come to school tomorrow then he can't buy the ticket, which means he can't come to the dance. So, I don't know what I'm supposed to do.Would it be too much to ask him to come before or after school just to buy the ticket? I mean, I know he's not feeling well and all but I just don't know what to do. This is really important to me (we were supposed to go to the last dance together but something came up and I was really dissapointed)and I've been looking forward to this for months. I don't know if it's too petty or selfish of me to be worrying about something like this though when he's obviously not feeling well (he's been pretty sick for 5 days). I've talked to him, and he's confident he's going to be better by the dance, but that doesn't change if he's going to bet better by tomorrow and be able to get the tickets.I paid a pretty good ammount of money to go to this dance, and I'm not sure if I want to go without him. (it's kinda the dance where it's best to go with a date or not go at all) But if I don't go, then I feel that I wasted my money and time. There's always the option of asking his brother to get it for him, but I don't know if that's allowed because you have to show ID and stuff :/Any comments or ideas?

Perhaps he could give you the money and write a letter with ID to allow you to get it for him? There has to be a solution to getting the ticket - particularly as the situation is so difficult. Don't give up on it - you just need to work with him to make it happen and tell him how much this means to you :-)
