When he put it on it was just like the top was all baggy and didn't do anything for either of us. Is this the "erotic" feature of it, or are we just not using it properly?

Don't tell me spermicide doesn't affect the sensation of intercourse, because it does. Some of them have a kind of anaesthetic effect - trust me - it is true - it even lists 'numbness, lack of sensation' as one of the possible side-effects. For us it was a very noticeable side effect - he said (and i quote) 'I can't feel a fxxxxxg thing!' - and that was after he'd taken it OFF!
Seriously, it does do something (bad).
And yes re: pregnancy, but if you don't want to get pregnant, condoms are about the weakest and most useless form of contraception (1. Often don't even get put on. 2. Even if they do, not at all uncommon for stuff to leak out, burst, etc.).
If you really don't want to get pregnant, you take the pill or have a patch or an injection. If you aren't totally switched on, you say 'ok, i'll use a condom - that'll do it' - it really isn't the best way to make sure you don't get pregnant. You've still got live sperm, and an ovulating woman, to put it mildly.
On the pill - no ovulation - no chance.
Same on the injection or patch.
With condoms, you are still playing with fire, I think.
But hey ... just my opinion. And I have to say that being a teenager for me isn't a reason not to be monogamous. Sexual curiosity doesn't mean you need 200 different men - you can just do it 200 times with the same man, surely? Well, that's for damn sure what I will be telling my daughter, and I can pretty much guarantee she won't be sleeping with lots of guys and being promiscuous in her teens...

And yes natural is fine if you want the risk of getting pregnant. Most people girls age don't want to have babies, and don't want monogamy. Most girls my age are all for condoms.

Lazy Guy, I have to say that in my experience, condoms are just not it, somehow. They have evil stuff on them (spermicide) that means you don't feel things in the same way at all, and all this ribbed rubbish is only to try to spice them up and compensate for that.
I'm sorry - nothing beats au naturel.
And I know there are STD, etc, issues, but the answer is only to sleep with someone you're sure of, and who you intend to see the next day ... and the next ... and the next ...
As for bell-end condoms, I read somewhere they were supposed to be sexy because afterwards you (plural) can look at just how much semen has been produced (!). Don't drink it, though. Spermicide also TASTES awful ...

Odd. Is it solid or an air bubble?
Since it is at the end, the idea could be to extend his penis. Or maybe create extra sensation if the ball is big enough.
Most novelty condoms I think are about the idea, not the actual sensation. It adds some spice or in this case, curiousity.

The picture on the box makes it look like he's going to have (this is exagerating) but an apple at the end of his penis PLUS the resevoir. I don't know, I'm starting to think it's just a really dumb design.

As said, the tip is to hold the semen and as far as I know they all got it. Without they just wouldn't work. Where else is it supposed to go after all? If you put a regular condom (with semen reservoir) on to thight you risk it ripping or sliding off (lubricated by the semen being pushed out).
Admittedly I never tried the novelty ones, been told that women don't feel it anyway and isn't the general idea to have the condom as thin as possible?

As far as I know they are just designed to hold his cum better and less likely to split.
It's not one of the "fun" designs, it's just practical.
Good Luck!! xx
