writes:Experience over viridity? I am a very unsure of what is expected of me, in terms of sex, by females. I was brought up with the idea that when you have sex, it should be with someone whom you love, or at the very least, like quite a lot, but am beginning to question my morals. To me it would appear that if a girl is a virgin, then it is an honour and a privilege to be her first and that you can put to rest any fears that she may be a "slut". That she is giving to you something very special and that it would be a blessing to think "Out of all the guys she could have had, she choose me". Now I think the opposite is true for a guy. Would it not seem rather undesirable to have to "show him the ropes" in the hope that he will eventually meet the expected standard? That it would be a burden of having a guy who cannot please you immediately? I fear the longer I continue with my current ethos the more undesirable I am going to appear to females as I age. I am unlikely to find a girl I like for a few years. Being a virgin may mean that females begin to wonder why I haven't had sex. If all the other females I've met until her haven't wanted to have sex with me then why should they? I have expressed my fears to a close female friend and she thinks its "cute" that I'm waiting but I know from plenty of past experience that "cute" is a great quality for toddlers to have but not so great when I am trying to be a potential mate. Eventually I am going to meet someone who I really like (who hopefully this time may just like me too) and wonder what they will want? A guy who knows what he is doing under the covers or a total novice with no idea? Please give me your honest opinion! Reply to this Question
