 No you want to do at least one romantic thing on the first date something sweet so she will remember you. The best I can say is chocolate just buy her a box of nice chocolates. because in chocolate it is a natural aphrodisiac and often reminds a woman of sex and sexual pleasures. So when she eats the chocolates she will be thinking of you and hopefully it will give her sexual thoughts too ;)
Always be nice!!! it means you are way better and have more class than a try-hard bad boy who will lose her in the end anyway lol. Don't fall for the bad boy tactic mate it corrupts your mind. Be nice, you will make a lasting impression and she'll remember you forever with good memories wherever the future takes you. just DON'T go all lovey dovey and be tooooo nice on her! play it cool, be your self, make her laugh, be her friend too and have fun!
Id take her to the movies (make sure its a funny movie) and then ask her to go to a fun park afterwards (the next date), if there is no fun park take her to a normal park where you can have some chat time. or take her shopping girls love shopping the good thing about that is everyone will see you together and you will automatically become closer.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2009): for your age the perfect date is the movies and a relaxed dinner or somewhere such as an aquarium(not museum. the movies is a gimmie cause your close to each other and you can talk. the key to a great first date is to make her laugh alot and listen to what she has to say and talk with her. be confident. i said the aquarium because it is fun,relaxed and can be very entertaining with the right person. once again make her laugh. and i understand that you want to be romantic but you can not be romantic on the first date. it should be relaxed and fun. otherwise the girl your out with will think your to nice or to clingy. neither are good at all. you do want to be polite but not romantic not quite yet. maybe on like the third date or so.i know you asked for ladies opinion but i have honestly only had one failed first date and it was because i took her to this super nice resturant and everything and she didn't call me back. i'm 16 by the way good luck
