i just want to advise that although there has been much research into HIV/AIDS, there ARE some elements that have not been discovered yet. HIV is still incurable, and i believe there are still many facets of this disease that we do not know of. so,whatever the situation just be extra careful.

Here is the quote from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is the government agency responsible for tracking diseases in the US.

"Casual contact through closed-mouth or "social" kissing is not a risk for transmission of HIV. Because of the potential for contact with blood during "French" or open-mouth kissing, CDC recommends against engaging in this activity with a person known to be infected. However, the risk of acquiring HIV during open-mouth kissing is believed to be very low. CDC has investigated only one case of HIV infection that may be attributed to contact with blood during open-mouth kissing."

There was only one case of a women getting hiv through deep throat kissing, the hiv infected person was bleeding in their mouth and she had a open cut wich led to the transfer, so your chances of getting it are very very slim.

kellyxxx agony auntHiv can be passed by infected blood too so if they have cuts or sores inside of their mouths and you have an open cut or sore in yours then there is a chance you can contract it. If you have to kiss them then stay to a closed mouth kiss, or show affection in a different way, such as a hug. X
