Truth be told, I had already lost my virginity by 16. The biggest thing to consider is there isn't an age for sexual intimacy, though too young is too young. When you are comfortable with kissing and you want to do it of your own will, and not that of your partner's, you go right ahead and do it. Sixteen is not an unusual age to begin experimenting sexually. You are old enough to make your own decisions in that way, but remember to stay safe and protect your own health. I hope this helps.
