My high school closed down last year, so I had to transfer. I invited him, because it meant a lot to me that he came. He and I were very close. I spoke to him on the phone last Sunday, and he said he'd think about coming. I politely asked him that he could bring his wife along if he wanted to. Then I spoke to him this past Friday, and he said his wife couldn't come.Well, anyway he made it early to my graduation. When I saw him, it was as if nothing had changed. It was like we were the same two people we were back then.It was almost a year since we've seen each other, but the way we acted around each other stayed the same.At the end, he thanked me for inviting him, I took a picture with him and we said our goodbyes. He acted a bit more flirtacious with me than usual. He leaned in closer to my face, about three inches. He also kept his arm around me for a good few minutes. I kissed him on the cheek. He said He'd email me when he got the chance.I just have a question. Do you think he might have thought the kiss on the cheek was awkward? I felt a little weird after it, as if I invaded his personal space. I mean, like I said, I still felt like he was still my teacher, and I was still his student. On the other hand, I did feel like we were just friends. It was a friendly peck on the cheek. I would think nothing of it if I were him.

it probably didn't; if he was leaning that close, he was asking for it. ;)
definitely don't listen to the last poster and ask him. that would definitely make it awkward.
