Hi, just wondering if there are any good dream decoders out there?

Me and my boyfriend split up a few weeks ago and after I had found out it was because he left me for another woman I cut all ties between us and burnt a bridge so to speak.

Anyway last night I had a dream he started speaking to me over the internet as I had unblocked him and he was having ago at me and for some reason everytime I wrote back all my spelling was incorrect and I kept making mistakes.

I can kind of see the significance of why I unblocked him its probably because I miss him but all the mistakes I was making which is really not like me...I dont get.

I've always been interested in dream decoding.

Not My Name agony auntBTW - Freud may be respected - but the guy was a full on nympho imo, and Jung was little better.

The work on dream archetypes (to which ask oldersister referred) are interesting as representations of self and to which I cant catagoricaly disagree, ... but Freud will have you thinking you're a dirty slut secretly wanting to get it on with a sheet of lasagana pasta.

He seriously is that twisted imo, and clearly needed therapy. Let's not even get in to his archaic sexism - you can discover that tangent for youself if you follow through with research (Which I reccommend btw - never hurts to have alt perspectives)

For something a bit more logical, not heavy, and 'with it' may I reccomend Craig Hamilton Parker's dream books. Funny guy, ...direct,not full of fluff, and an entertaining easily read writer.

Fatherly Advice agony auntPersonally I like Dreammoods.com I find it helps me make sense of my dreams. I had a strange dream myself the other day. I'm really wondering about the interpretation too.

Any way it is best if you go look at the interpretations yourself. There are usually more than one interpretation for each symbol. And as you put in the symbols you will remember more about the dream.

A quick answer from there is: to dream that you cannot spell, indicates that you are having trouble coming to terms with problems in your life.

If you are interested in getting to know more about dream decoding I would suggest that you keep a dream diary. You need to keep a note book and pen by your bed. When you wake up from a dream immediately write down every detail you can remember. Then look up the symbols. I suspect it would be better to get the official works that older sister mentioned. Dream moods has some suspect interpretations in my opinion.

I would think that all the spelling mistakes show how much you misunderstand why he left you. Maybe there were things that you never had the chance to say, or maybe it shows how misunderstood you really feel.
