We were hanging out and he was telling me about this girl that he'd fooled around with while he was drunk and that he felt really guilty about it and really regretted doing it.The next night he went out and got drunk again with the same girl being there and I text him to make sure he was okay. He said that he was going to try it on again with her as he was having fun and I tried to convince him it was the drink talking and that I didn't want him to regret anything again. So basically we had our first argument and I'm a bit torn. I was really trying to look out for him but at the same time it's his life. We changed the subject in the end but I'm still a little annoyed, mainly at myself and I think he is too. Have I done something wrong? and how do I go about fixing things?

Wow, this guy doesn't respect women. He's trying to get with a girl even though he originally "regretted it?" Yeah right. Let's make this clear, you were trying to look after him, but his reaction was to flip out and start an argument.
How is that okay?
You seem to be a good friend to him, however he isn't being such a good friend to you. Don't put up it, so consider distancing yourself from this friendship.
