I have not got the confidence to go to a gay bar by myself as my friends love me but will never do that. I don’t know what to do how do I take the first step ? Also itDoes not help that I am very girlie and no one knew I was gay till I told them I'm so confused I'm only 22 and it's stressing me out I feel there is no answer anyone got any ideas. If your friends are not suportive of your lifestyle.. Find new friends. And the best place to go is to a gay lounge.. Not a dance club. A lounge is more relaxed, and your less likly to feel uncomfortable. Im sure that if you sit @ the bar order a drink, and before you even finish ur drink, you'll have made atleast 1 new friend. Good luck

Well you should probably look for a community online with other gay girls! You can ask them how they developed once they realized they were gay and you can ask for advice.Tell your friends that you need them to go to the bar with you!Say it is important to you!I'm sure they won't mind going if you ask.
