Joke on our parents didn't go over too well

A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Me and a friend of mine have done a very bad thing.

Basically my mom and his mom work together and they have wanted us to get together, and we don't want to, which annoys us, but they keep going on about it.

One time when he came over for homework during the weekend when there was nobody else in, I noticed that our moms were spying on us outside in a car.

I pointed it out to him and we decided to get even with them. We stood right infront of the window and kissed quite violently for a while before I shut the blind for about 45 minutes. It was basically our plan to make it look like we had had sex, but we didnt. (We actually made a cuppa and did some revision.) We opened the blind and they were still there looking quite shocked and angry.

My mom hasn't brought it up, but I want to let her know that it was a joke because we were annoyed that they were spying on us, I just don't think shes gonna take it well. Help please!!

So_Very_Confused agony auntI'm with sageoldguy...

if your parents were blatant in their "spying" then they get what they deserve...

in addition if you kissed in front of the window and implied that you would be sexual then closed the blinds for 45 minutes and then when you opened the blinds they were still there, they sat there and waited... IF they TRULY thought you were doing something they did not approve of they would have come in and stopped it.

To be honest, if I saw this and I knew my kid well enough to know that they were joking (and parents know more than you think they know) I would have just let them stew and worry about it.

sugarplum786 agony auntSet things straigt with your mum as she thinks the worst off you and him. It will also put her mind at rest as she might think he used you since yourll are no together.

This joke could get out of hand and ruin your mum's friendship with this guys mum.

Be mature and come clean.

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntSOMETIMES, it's best to keep quiet.... THIS is one of those times....

Let your Mothers stew over what that expected.... AND what you and this guy did....

I predict that - in 10 years or more - you and he will get quite a laugh about this.... (Can't expect the Moms to do the same!!!!)

Good luck
