Should i take up this offer, what are the advantages and disadvantages that i have not taken into account?

Let me just say that even though you've said you're only going to do it for a year or 2, it might be hard to quit when you like. Also keep in mind what someone said, that this man you met seems really unprofessional in that he slept with you and now wants to hire you, be careful whom you are dealing with, not everyone is trustworthy in the porn industry. Also, you said you're doing it for the money - ask yourself if they money you gain is really worth putting yourself through certain scenes you might have to do.

Hon, IMO don't go for it. Let me tell you: in STD's, the porn industry only tests its models for HIV and Herpes...so you can still be exposed to: genital warts, chlamydia, gonorrhea, crabs, pubic lice, all forms of hepatitis, and of course, urinary tract infections. You can and will be subject to vaginal and anal tearing and those are only physical disadvantages... Pay is not so good, I think a good chunk goes to your "agent" "producer" etc. A lot of porn stars get addicted to drugs, not purposely but some scenes are so terrible, they have to take something to numb themselves. A lot of female porn stars are also stalked, threatened, and I can go on and on.Then, there's the fact that you will NOT be having sex with men you find attractive. Honestly, I don't think many good-looking men go into porn...But that's not the point, you will be a puppet. They snap their fingers, you have to engage in a very intimate act with a man you do not know, trust, love or even like for that matter. I honestly believe that experiences like that can be very damaging to your mind and soul. One day, when you meet a special man-how do you think he might take knowing that you were or are in porn? It can't be easy...imagine, one day a friend of his stumbles into one of your movies and shows it to him...or the rest of his group. I know there are a lot of things love is supposed to "conquer" but, people have their limits. That's just reality. I would hate for you to miss out on the beauty of love because of this...I know that sex isn't always about love, but In porn, it's all about putting on a show. It's selfish and fake. I doubt even the men enjoy it...Please take into mind that this is something you can NEVER take back if you go for it. This will always haunt your steps in life. Please, think it through.

Pay: Most of the time it is a fee payed from which you have to pay taxes yourself and everything else. Taxes are high for the self-employed. 50% is a very rough estimate from years ago for myself.
Sex: You had a one night stand, so apparently you have no trouble getting sex. Now it is with who you want it, when you want it, and what you want. In porn, the director calls the shots. You might not like all of them. Google painal. Also, a lot of porn thinks foreplay == blowjob and the best way to finish for the girl is to shove it up the ass. Usually with guys so decencitized they can after all that only come by masturbation.
Recognition: The internet is world-wide and porn is distrubuted for free. How would you like your picture to be up on any number of free sites? In the times of magazines maybe 10.000 copies were sold and anyone claiming to know you from it had to admit to buying smut. Now your picture can be emailed to your entire wedding invitation list. Don't even think about anonymity on the web, why do think this site discourages the use of even real FIRST names?
STD's: Well, you are probably not to worried about that considering the start of your post and the industry does try to protect against it. The reputable parts of it. Here is a hint, reputable parts of the porn industry do NOT sleep with models.
Pride: The more erotic forms of porn can give people a thrill to do it. To show to the world, this is how I look. That is often the reason given for Playboy shoots. They got a point. If you want to do it, to show to the world what you got. Why not? BUT a lot of porn isn't like this at all. You want to keep a reminder of you being gangbanged by a dozen guys up the ass for a few hundred bucks?
I would first off all realize that not all porn is equal. A shoot for Playboy is not the same as Ifeelmyself and neither is anything like bangbus. I get the feeling from how you got your invite, this won't be a playboy shoot or a shoot that celebrates the beauty of the female form like metart (don't google this stuff at work).
You are right now in a period in your life where you have one night stands with porn producers. Nothing wrong with that, but right now just you and him know about it. Do a porn shoot and 6 billion people will know about it.

Consider that one day, what sex would mean to you. Would you still enjoy it if you ever found the right man and you wished to settle down? Would it mean as much to you? When you engage your body in things like this you have to consider the effects it would have on your mind and soul, would you be proud of your work? And what of the future? If you are ever going to have children, what would they think if they knew?
I don't know what you are like or what your plans are for the future, just think about what you want in the future and think deeply on what changes getting into this industry will have, along with the ramifications it would almost definitely have on your life now and the people around you. As far as advantages go I can only assume you get a reasonable amount of money out of it and a different sort of fame I suppose. If you enjoy sex, there is a lot of that. Just consider things thoroughly before you go through with this, don't do anything you will regret.
I hope that helps.

Well the advantages are, good pay, sex.The disadvantages would be getting recognized. Eventually you'll get older and lose your looks, and chances are nobody is going to want to hire an ex porn star for something professional.Plain sex is only good a few months, if you really want to be a star, you're going to need to go more hardcore and hardcore. Like Anal, multiple guys. You're going to need to do something special to truly stand out. Porn isn't exactly very comfortable, you don't just have sex in front of a camera, you do it in very uncomfortable positions to get the best angle, you pause, and do retakes. It isn't really a long term career for most people, you are disposable, you aren't a person, you are an object. A small stint in porn could affect the rest of your life. Long term.
