A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've liked this guy for along time. We are both really shy. He may or may not like me. My preachers daughter works with him and she asked him if he knew who I was he said yes with a smile. His mom and uncle know my mom. His uncle always talks to me when I walk my dog and he always is telling me something about the guy i like. When he came into the bank to open an account with my mom's bank he was asking who I was. Let me say this. When I started liking him I thought I would get over this in a couple of weeks and now it has been several years. But he lives in my neighborhood and some of my family and friends know some of his family. It's just so werid.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (19 October 2009):

Why don't you tell him how you feel? Or at least get to know him more to find out if he's someone you'd like to date? It would be a shame if you didn't get to know him. Be brave and speak to him. It's the only way to be sure of how he feels about you.
