I've liked him for a solid year, but nothing has happened!

i was in a musical with him when i was 13, and i fancied him. all my friends knew and im pretty sure he knew. one day, backstage my friend pushed me into him, but i just blushed and looked away. during the performance i would have to grab him around the waist and then run away. we were only on together for one night of the shows run time. a few days after the performance my teacher told me he had been asking about me. i looked for his bebo, myspace, facebook. never found him. then the other day, completely at random my friend decides to look for his fb, and finds it! we have one mutual friend , shes so kind and friendly, but bffs with some of the popular bitches. i dont know what i should do, talk to her, add him, ask a friend to add him. and the thing is i liked him for a solid year, and now the feelings are back again, but i dont want to look like a pathetic whore :( anyone got any ideas?
