Ever since I've had my period (I'm 21 years old, so I've had it for about 8 years) I've had the mensrual cramps in my thighs instead of my abdomen. Is that normal? Does anyone else have that? No one that I've talked to has it like that...Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks guys,-Anonymous

I get shooting paines up and down my leg, which puts me in weird positions just to help relieve the paine. How do you get the paine to go away quickly?

This is normal. The ligaments in the uterus are actually connected to the ligaments in our legs, i guess they are all connected in some way. It happens alot in pregnant women as well, where they can actually have trouble walking due to the ligaments being stretched.

I've not heard of it before although I am aware that some people do suffer from period cramps in other places other than the stomache.
I would see your doctor whether it is normal or not maybe he can give you something or suggest something you can do to ease it.
Good luck :o)

I've never heard of that myself. Have you been to a doctor to seek medical opinion/advice? I may be wrong, but that doesn't sound right at all and no, I'd say definitely NOT 'normal' (awful word really!)
