I've had a crush on her for ages, she's now single, do I make a move?

A male Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've had a major crush on a girl since september. Before she had a boyfriend. Now shes single. All I've been able to do is concentrate on her for the past months. Like, back in the day, I used to not want to go to school if I didn't have to, I used to look for an excuse not to go. Now, I look for every excuse just to go to school and see this girl. Its affecting my marks, and even though I don't think she likes me, I can't get her off my mind. When I'm not in school, everything now seems boring, and everything I do I relate to this girl. What do I do?

starfairy agony auntYou need to simply ask her out. There's no use agonising over it. If you're too shy, start up a text or msn conversation, get to know her better, suss out her feelings for you.
