Well sweetie, if you dont have feelings for your girlfriend (crush on friend or not) you should let her go. It isnt fair to keep her from finding quality love, you know. One thing I must say, is a relationship with her friend would probably not be the greatest idea. Here's why: Automaticlly, the friend, now being your girlfriend, will not have %100 trust for you, because, hey, if you left her friend to be with her, who's to say you wont do the same to her? She might ignore that fact at first, but later in your relationship with her, she will start wondering about that, causing insecurity issues and lack of trust. She will write off her friends because she will be too afraid to bring them around you. So, typically, I don't recommend going out with a girlfriend/boyfriend's friend for that reason. However, you will probably go with your feelings for her, so it's important to know alittle about what the consiquences might be so you can better handle the situation when it surfaces. Good luck, try to let her down gently;-)

Not going to happen mate.
Even if you do it the right way and split up with your girl, leave it a while, and then approach the friend.... the likelihood is that she won't want to date her best mate's ex.
If you think this is a crush then get over it, if you think it's something more then you have to end it with your girlfriend anyway as you are obviously not in love with her in more.
Good Luck!! xx
