A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Well I met this girl on a trip away when we were both still in relationships. It went really well and we both ended up breaking up with our partners to be together.

Her ex ended up in hospital after being beaten up and she was asked to go visit him. She ended up kissing him.. She told me this after doing it. Things between us then went quiet for a week.

We were then talking this evening and she broke the news to me that that she was getting back together with her ex.

I'm really confused, I really really like her. I've done nothing wrong and I end up in this situation. I also keep thinking what has he got that I haven't.

I really don't know what to do :(. Please can someone help?

$izZle agony auntI agree with tennisstar88 look pal you are still young and there is a lot more to life than that so. Its a beautiful world out there that you need to explore and enjoy... remember

why do we fall? so that we learn to pull our self back together ...think of it as a small episode in your life that made you a better man than you were yes questions there will always be questions popping up... im sure even god has questions like those cropping up at times :P and we are but only humans lol

piece of advice don't pay much attention to the questions and over time they will fade ... have a lovely day :)

A female reader, tennisstar88 United States +, writes (11 September 2010):

tennisstar88 agony auntSorry hon, but she wasn't over the ex after she broke up with him for you. If she was over him then she would have went with friends or parents to see him and definitely wouldn't have kissed him. He's hurt and she's flocked to his side like a little nurse tending to his wounds. It's really sweet but, she's still into this guy and now that he's hurt there's possibly a little guilt there. You're right you didn't do anything wrong, she is the one who is in the wrong. The only thing that he has that you don't is maybe a pity party and a history with her. You got hurt in this situation so it's best to swallow that pride and walk away. And find a girl that is fully and emotionally available!
