I've been off the market for awhile and I'm kind of out of the dating scene

A male United Kingdom, anonymous writes:

I dated up until I was 20 and then some personal issues occurred with my last girlfriend which resulted in low self esteem kicking in. I built up my confidence after some help from parents and mentor and I am now more confident in all forms of life (except dating) than before the problem.

I know some girls find me attractive but when you've been off the maket for sometime, you forget a few things.

Based on past experience I've never dated anyone that I met in a bar or nightclub as most aren't after a long term relationship so I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice.
