With his parents, and just recently finally found a job. Me on the other had, I have had a job of four years, my own place (well, roomate), and live near the city. In the beginning he mentioned he's be willing to move for a girlfriend, well not anymore.. He's quite comfortable where he's at and expects me to drop everything and move over there. I don't feel like I'll be sucessful over there, I'm very business like, I don't do small towns, and I just don't feel this is fair. AND it's only been a month.. Should I break it off with him? or wait it out and see if either of us budge? I really love him and know we can be happy..but is sacrificing my career worth it?? Reply to this Question Share |

if he won't move and you won't move then it's best to end it.
no sense in carrying on with a 4 hour apart relationship that is not going to end well...
I'm currently 2 hours apart from my partner. we are together nearly a year and are so close to closing the distance gap... I would not want a full time relatonship with someone long distance.
