writes:I've been dating this guy for a month now, and we've already fallen in love. Problem is, he lives four hours away from me in a small town. With his parents, and just recently finally found a job. Me on the other had, I have had a job of four years, my own place (well, roomate), and live near the city. In the beginning he mentioned he's be willing to move for a girlfriend, well not anymore.. He's quite comfortable where he's at and expects me to drop everything and move over there. I don't feel like I'll be sucessful over there, I'm very business like, I don't do small towns, and I just don't feel this is fair. AND it's only been a month.. Should I break it off with him? or wait it out and see if either of us budge? I really love him and know we can be happy..but is sacrificing my career worth it?? Reply to this Question

 if he won't move and you won't move then it's best to end it.
no sense in carrying on with a 4 hour apart relationship that is not going to end well...
I'm currently 2 hours apart from my partner. we are together nearly a year and are so close to closing the distance gap... I would not want a full time relatonship with someone long distance.
