It's my my friend's word against his...who do I believe?

hey i have been dating this guy for a while now but here lately we have been arguing alot. we were best friends before we started going out and he told me that he loved all of his other girlfriends and now he tells me that he really does love me??? well should i beleive him? and i think me friend likes him i know she used to but she says she is over him, she is always encouraging me to break up with him , she is always telling me that he is always touching her and that he is always making nasty comments to her about her body and she said that he asked her to come to his house alone and not tell anyone!!!!!! he said that she is lying and he didnt say that, so what do you think? should i beleive him????

camille agony auntThis is tricky because if your friend does have feeling for him, it's feasible she's made stuff up to split you up. Emotions make people do and say weird things that may seem out of character.

You say you were friends with your boyfriend beforehand so you must have some guage of whether he's trustworthy. In the end it just comes down to trust. Who do you trust? Who do you believe? If you truly belive that your boyfriend wouldn't lie to you, you need to talk to your friend as you can't carry on like this.

You're stuck in the middle. If you think it will help, engineer a situation to get the two of them together and confront the issue whilst they're both there.
