My boyfriend lives in a different state than I, and we haven't seen eachother in about 9 months, for personal reasons. We lived together for about a year, so it is really hard being away from eachother, but were still going strong!! As long as both of you can handle it and have faith, anything can work. =)

Some do. Not many, but they can. They require a huge amount of commitment and work and if couples can overcome it, then good for them. So long as you and your boyfriend are totally committed to each other and spend quality time together, then it will work out. But it needs a huge amount of work.
