This still bothers me because I want to be able to understand why I have this pain. The pain is also relatively bad when I start to get aroused. I can't figure out what may be wrong. And when I did address my gynecologist about this she simply said maybe my orgasms are just really strong/powerful. But if this is the case, is it possible to make them less powerful. The pain itself it like someone stabbing me with a knife. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

it could be normal. But if it's extremely painful then chances are that something is wrong. I had a similar issue almost a year ago, and two doctors told me nothing was wrong. However the pain just kept getting worse, to the point where sex with my boyfriend was no longer an option for us. This lead me to get a third opinion, and without going into the gross details, they found something similar to legions around my cervix. Thankfully there were nothing dangerous, and easy to fix. But these things can always deteriorate, you never know what can happen. So please, PLEASE, get another opinion, because orgasms are really never meant to hurt that much.
Good luck.

It's natural to have a slight stabbing sensation when you orgasm and if there's nothing physically wrong with you you're probably just getting what all us girls get a little.
