writes: he says he loves me and i believe he does but we hardly spend time together doing the relationship thing. he lives in another state but works in my hometown. when he is here is tired and when he goes back home we hardly talk. i know he is busy and tired after working over 12 hours a day 6 days a week but it just seem like our time is always limited. what can i do to get him to see that this is starting to bother me when i have talked to him about this several times before? Well he can't magic more hours out of the week.
Why don't you suggest he moves up here so he's not travelling all the time, or ask if he wants to stay with you during the week?
That way he can spend time with you and also get some sleep for once.
If he can't do that then you either have to accept this is the way his life is, or dump him and fond someone who works less hours.
