Hi.I had my last period,i think, about 3 weeks ago.It started on the 26th of April, and finished exactly a week later, and yesterday,i got the signs of another one starting.I usually get a brown discharge for a day or two before my period starts, then it starts properly. If it has been 3 weeks since i last started,is it too soon for me to be starting my next one ?.I'm quite concerned because i was late coming on my last one,but this one seems abit too early.Sometimes i find it difficult to keep track of when they should start.

I also usually get thrush either just before my period starts,or just after it has finished,at least,i think it is thrush. Is any of this normal ?.

Gem86 agony auntHey!

I think the first you should do is go to your doctor regarding this. If you are repeatedly suffering from thrush they can help, I know as I have had similar problems in the past. They will also be able to offer some advice regarding your irregular cycle.

It seems that you are a little unsure of when you're meant to be having a period - I stongly suggest you start writing this down in your diary. Not only is this good for your piece of mind, but also helps you to explain your problems to your doctor.

So try not to worry too much, as it seems that your're experiencing something normal to you, but you should definitely get to see your doctor, as I think you need to talk to an expert. (You haven't said if you're having sex, on the pill, etc so I can't really offer much more advice).

Hope I've helped a little bit, good luck x

Pyro_Dimples agony auntyea sweetie, that sounds pretty normal. I gave up on trying to keep track of mine because there are soo many things that can throw it off I find it a waste of time. Have you been stressed lately? The reason I ask is that mine sometimes comes twice a month if i'm super stressed(which sadly has been alot lately) well I wouldn't worry too much. Hope everything works out okay..
