writes:is this love or mearly a crush?... there is this guy i've know literally since i was born, recently we've become really friendly again, we talk everyday and i feel so comfortable around him. i'd love for something to happen between us but havn't got up the courage to ask whether he feels the same. i think about him constanly and really care about him, our parents have always said that we would get married one day, i'm actually beginning to believe them, i can imagine myself spending the rest of my life with him, its driving me crazy... my questions are, what distinguishes between love and a crush? should i tell him, if so how? thankyou so much

reader, anonymous, writes (29 April 2009): Yes, tell him how you feel. It's the only way you are going to find out whether he returns your feelings.
If you let it carry on like this and keep imagining, your disappointment will be harder to take than if say something now.
I hope he returns your feelings and you are happy together.
