that is actually cute! apart from the popping out of you mom part (too eww!) you ask if it is overwhelming. did it overwhelm you? thats all that matters coz you are the one its been sent to. i wouldnt worry about this card, just see how the person behaves with you in your day-to-day life. if the person is too full on and you find it uncormfortable and unwelcome - have a word with them. i have a friend who writes the most gorgeous things in her xmas and birthday cards to me, but that is all, in real life she actually acts rather disinterested most of the time! some people just enjoy writing sentimental stuff.

Depends who its too. Male/female? Partner or just a friend? If it was a partner then yeah its ok, the popping out your mom bit is weird, change it to 'you were born' or something.
