Is this a lost cause or can we eventually be more than just friends?

Tagged as: Friends<< Previous question   Next question >>
Question - (17 January 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 18 January 2010)
A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

There is this girl I like and we've been like best friends for just over 3 years now.

She knows I like her and asked her out back in September, and her reason for saying no was 'you can do better'

Its quite painful knowing that she used to like me years ago, but i was shy so I never got round to asking her.

Is this a lost cause, friends is all we'll ever be or could something eventually happen?

To me, doesn't sound like anything will happen. Sorry, but you would be better off moving on from her.
