It's totally okay! You are lucky!
Hymens vary widely on thickness, some being really thick and thus causes pain, while others are almost unnoticeable.
It's also possible that you caused it to break from other activity, like horseback riding, jungle gym, a tampon, an accident, or anything else.
As far as the pleasure thing, that's also very normal, and you're in the majority of women. The vagina has very few nerve endings of its own. The clitoris is the source of pleasure in a woman.
You and your husband should experiment with clitoral stimulation, because the vast majority of woman are unable to achieve orgasm through intercourse alone. It has nothing to do with his size.
You also could benefit from Kegel exercises, which will strengthen the pelvic muscles and enhance both the ability and intensity of your orgasm.
That's not to say that intercourse itself can't be pleasurable. Experiment with different angles and positions to allow the penis to rub against the clitoris or G-spot (the spongy area about an inch or so inside your vagina directly behind the clitoris and its network of nerve endings.
You're totally okay! One of the best things about sex is the sheer joy of adventure and discovery. Go easy on yourself, don't make orgasm the only goal and source of anxiety, and concentrate on all of the pleasurable feelings that sex has to offer.

nothing is wrong with you.... sex is not supposed to hurt...
and most women do not derive sexual pleasure from straight intercourse.
you sound normal to me.

Nothing is wrong with you. Not every woman feels pain the first time they had sex. Just like not every woman bleeds the first time they have sex. Everyone is different. Don't worry about it, you should feel lucky!
