VMLBabyDoll is verified as being by the original poster of the questionYes that may be the only thing i can do. He still likes me, he's told me, but what if he wants to go out with me? if i were to go out with him i'd feel weird because he's my best friend, i do like him too but its still weird. If he asks what should i do?

Break-ups are hard at he best of times, especially when one person doesn't see it coming. The only thing he can do is do it. She's going to hurt no matter what he does. As for him getting over it....he will. (she will too). The only thing YOU can do for him is be a good listener. When he realizes he did what was best for him, time will care of the rest.
