I went to the doctors and took a morning after pill but there is still a niggling feeling in the back of my head... what if?I havent really got anyone I can confide in and dont want to mention it to my friend in case it freaks him out and changes our friendship further for no real reason. How can I tell this early on if I am in fact pregnant and how do I go about bringing up the subject if I am.He is not English and is thinking about going home next year sometime and this will only complicate things further.

try a pregnancy test, but it might not show up as this is kinda a bit early!!
the morning after pill reduces the chance of gettin pregnant by i think its 95% soo im pretty sure you wont get pregnant but,
look out for,
sore boobs, morning sickness, feeling sick throughout the day, beening tired etc...
good luck

You should be okay if youve taken the morning after pill. Have you thought of other contraception now so that you won't have as much worry next time. If you want confirmation that you arent pregnant you can get very reliable pregnancy tests from the chemist which can predict very early on. good luck. hope this helps.

i have had a couple of scares and this is what i know loulou84, the morning after pill has most probably worked, however you could now buy a test from the chemist. it usually takes around 14 days from the date of the sex until these hormones show up in a home test. so testing before then can still give you a negative result. buy a test on the fourteenth day, and if you are still worried after that then go to the doctor to get a test. good luck!!

I'm sorry to hear that this is stressing you so.Talk to your doctor/nurse about it. You can get a walk-in appointment. Go to another area of town if you're shy. Just talk to a health care professional. He or she will be able to tell you about the efficacy of the morning after pill, address any concerns you might have and reassure you.If it is medically necessary, a doctor can order a blood pregnancy test (accurate six to eight days after ovulation).Don't worry the lad until you have news. It's just speculation right now.Let us know how it goes!P.S. Not sure what the condom problem was but it's a good idea to keep different sizes nearby. Not all men fit in the regular ones and they're a real pain (literary) to put on if that's all you have and are prone to breaking.
