Is there a way I can find out the truth?

There is a guy (who I worked with) I really like him and we have flirted for about a year and have always gotton along and we have loads in common, we arranged to go out once but he had to cancel last minute, no explanation and I idn't ask, anyway we have never been out but we have kissed on a number of occasions.

I did ask him if he was single before we kissed and he said yes, he used to be in a serious relationship and it didn't work out and he just wants fun.

I always liked the fact that he spoke his mind and was upfront at work but always said he keeps his personal life seperate.

Anyway he left a few weeks ago and he has got in touch with me saying he wants to meet up, which I was thrilled with.

The problem is, is that I overheard some of his old colleagues talking about his girlfriend and saying that she isn't very well at the moment and she's in hospital.

I then asked one of them if it was true what I had just heard and he said yes and I don't see why he would lie.

I have since got in touch with this guy and asked him unfortunately by a text messgae and he said it's not true. I'm so confused.

I don't want to askto many questions at work because no one knows about us.

I hate not seeing him at work, I keep looking for him, I have it bad for him and I was so happy he got in touch.

Is there a way I can find out, I'm not into facebook/bebo and neither is he.

I did check 192.co.uk with his name and address but nothing. DOes anyone have any advice, as this is the first guy I have ever really felt attracted to and comfortable in his company. And I do want to believe him because he has been so truthful before but why would these guys make this up.

Thank for reading, any advice very welcome.

You are counting on too much second hand gossip and hearsay about a situation that is easily solvable.

You have two lips girl. Go ask him.

Its not hard and you get it straight from the source. Dont make it harder than it has to be.
