Everyone has suggested I seek counselling to help me properly - but have no idea how to go about this!! The big problem is that I cant afford to pay much money. Is there such a thing as a free counselling service? How do I find out about this? I live in London. Thanks again all.

Good luck.

You can get counselling free on the NHS - ask for a referral from your GP. Alternatively there are very many voluntary sector organisations working in the London area that offer free services. Make sure you see a qualified counsellor or therapist. Ask at your citizens advice bureau, look on the MIND website or google counselling or mental health services for the borough or PCT area where you are based.

Most big cities offer free or cheap counseling to people with low income. Here is a website: http://www.counselling.ltd.uk/
I just got it from googling it. Also at lots of Uni's they have peer counseling... even if you go to a junior college and take 1 class like yoga or art (if your not in school) and you can get free counseling. Also go to a community center near you and they might have information. I also found this low cost list: http://www.southeastlondoncounselling.org.uk/lowcost.htm
A lot of therapist will go on a sliding scale so just look be persistent and you'll find someone
