reader, anonymous, writes (15 January 2006): if your girlfriend takes her pills regularly, there is a very very low chance that she will become pregnant..however, as with everything, there is always a risk. i am on the pill and it is the only type of contraceptive that my boyfriend and i have been using for a year and a half. i have never so much as had a pregnancy scare. just be cautious of STD's because the pill does nothing to prevent these. hope this helps :)
