Two nights ago in mid conversation I got a text that said, "I love you. You're one of my best friend's and always will be. K?". It was odd of her to say that, because she's never acted like that before plus it was completely random in the conversation. And today, while at college, she was spending a good bit of time with me, and a few times I noticed her touching me on the arm and walking really close to me...so close she was bumping into me. But the thing is, she has a boyfriend. They haven't been dating very long but it's still a relationship. I think maybe I'm just looking at this the wrong way. Is she starting to like me? I'm just curious why she seems to be acting different. Help? Thanks...

Maybe she's spending time with you because her boyfriend is always "busy" with other stuff. She wants someone to say I love you to. Whenever her boyfriend's not around you become the surrogate. Touching you on the arm and bumping into you aren't that much. It's when it gradually turns into pecks on the cheeks, then heavy smooches, then you have to worry.
