In that case, they see you as the stereotypical "mandigo" male. The average male phallus is 5-7" (erect) and depending on thickness (which often really counts), that will usually do it for many women. Along with foreplay and positions, a woman should be satisfied unless the man is just horrible in bed.
If they have overly high expectations in the beginning you have to decide if you should sleep with them or not. I would wonder why the assumption and ask. Let them know, your like every other man, no different. They come in all sizes and lengths. If they are looking for Mandingo, they should go to the sex toy shop.
