My idea for valentines.. both riding down to a quiet beach, have a little walk, I have her close her eyes and then present a white rose to her, kiss her cheek and tell her briefly how much she means to me then walk her over to where I have a few blankets laid down and a candle in a hurricane lamp.. what do I put in the picnic? I don't know her well enough to know what to put in the picnic.. what about a bag of Haribo because I know she likes her sweeties muchly but would she think I haven't made an effort?

Woah that sounds planned almost down to the very last detail! You don't have to plan everything you're gonna say etc, let it be spontaneous! As for the picnic, just shove in the stuff you know she likes. Can't go wrong with chocolate. Or tuna sandwiches...

make some chocolate covered strawberries. lets face it who doesnt like them. they are thoughful and it shows you've made an effort. top that off with an expensive bottle of her favorite champagne, that should do the trick.

forget the picnic, everything else good. you want a nice bottle of bubbly and two glasses. Simple things allways create the best memories

the fact that you have planned the whole walk on the beach white rose thing def shows you have made the effort a lot of people will just be getting a card! if she likes haribos why not put them in (with a few sandwhiches of course lol) but its something she likes and it will show you do take note of her likes/dislikes.

good luck x
